Ms. Happu Sandhu
Ms. Happu Sandhu is the Director of Willowbrae Academy Squamish, bringing a strong combination of early childhood education, leadership, and business management experience to her role. Since joining Willowbrae Academy in 2022, she has held several positions within the organization, including ECE Educator, Human Resources Manager, Interim Director, and now Director.
A graduate of Pacific Rim Institute with an ECE Basic Diploma and BCIT with a Diploma in Business Management, Ms. Happu is passionate about creating high-quality learning environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. She is equally committed to ensuring that families and educators feel supported, respected, and included in building a caring and nurturing community for young learners.
Ms. Happu believes that meaningful relationships are the foundation of a successful early learning program. She works closely with children, families, and educators to foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and excellence. Her leadership style is rooted in empathy, professionalism, and continuous growth, with a focus on supporting both children's development and her team's success.
Outside of the academy, Ms. Happu enjoys baking, sharing hands-on learning experiences with children, and spending quality time with her little nephews and family.
